I've started my first course at Asbury this week and I've got to say going back to school, even online school, is more difficult than I thought it would be. I've got some gripes about course requirements – I don't really have time for a fourth small group – and I can already tell that there are going to be gobs of posts to read of varying quality.
All things considered though I think it's going to be a good class. I just finished the first week's reading from Divine Guidance (Muto/van Kaam) and The Call (Guinness). I really like the Guiness book, not so fond of the Muto. My favorite part has been the discussion of calling in relation to vocation as it applies to our initial call to be for/about God. Good stuff.
